My testimonial: For many years, I struggled with fatigue and aching joints and had zero energy to exercise, prepare the right meals, or even to have fun. After finally receiving the diagnosis of an autoimmune disease, I was bound and determined to not let it beat me. I was a mother, and I did not want to let my girls, or myself down. So, I used every ounce of energy I could muster to research solutions to help me feel better and made some surprising discoveries along the way.
For example, I had no energy, so I developed a very basic exercise program to incorporate into my daily routine and noticed the improvements almost immediately. The hardest part was having the drive to get started but once I did, there was no going back. Not only did I notice positive changes physically, but the mood and energy boost just felt amazing. And, the good news is that through small, progressive changes, big changes happen!

Eating with Purpose
-The practice of mindful eating involves focusing on self-kindness and being present in the moment. Taking a brief pause to evaluate what you are consuming and how that particular food nourishes your body, helps you build a new, healthy relationship with food.
Joyful Fitness
-Sitting still is something that we all appreciate from time to time. However, when our bodies are in motion, this helps engage our endorphins and gets those happy vibes going:) Whether you prefer to hop on a bike, take out the kayak for a spin, or go trail-blazing, go explore this beautiful world we live in!

Self Care
-Loving yourself, and taking care of yourself should be your # 1 priority. This sets us up for being the best version of ourselves possible so we can share all that goodness with our loved ones. So read a book, get a massage, or watch the sunrise before church. Embrace your passions and comforts.
